Generations of craft.
A personal passion.
Bill is a craftsman whose work carries forward generations of woodworking knowledge. At Oakwright, that tradition lives in handcrafted solid wood tables and benches, made here in the Kansas City area.
His passion begins with the wood itself: its grain, its character, and the possibility of turning each board into something meaningful. From selecting the materials to shaping the details and applying the finish, he brings care and intention to every stage.
For Bill, the reward is knowing a piece will become part of someone’s everyday life—the table where families gather, stories are shared, and memories take shape. He crafts furniture with that purpose in mind: beautiful to look at, substantial to the touch, and made to be lived with.
